Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our carbon fibre parts, ordering, fitment and shipping.
Products
100%. Every part we sell is genuine woven carbon fibre. We don't use ABS plastic wraps, vinyl carbon film or cheap composites. If it has the RB Innovations name on it, it's the real deal.
Our standard parts use a 2x2 twill weave, which is the classic carbon fibre look you see on high-end motorsport vehicles. Some parts are also available in forged carbon or plain weave. Just check the product listing for weave details on each part.
They are. All parts ship with a UV-resistant gloss clear coat already applied. This protects the carbon weave from yellowing and gives the part a clean, deep shine right out of the box.
Matte finish is available on select parts. If a matte option exists it will show up as a variant on the product page. If you can't see it listed, get in touch with us and we can let you know if it's something we can do.
Fitment
Every product listing includes a fitment note showing which makes, models and year ranges are compatible. Make sure you check this before ordering. If you're not sure, send us your vehicle details and we'll confirm whether it fits.
Nope. All our parts are designed for direct bolt-on or clip-on installation using the factory mounting points. No drilling, cutting or permanent modification needed.
That depends on what's been done. Parts that replace OEM exterior panels will generally still fit as long as the surrounding factory bodywork is intact. Things like aftermarket bumpers, widebody kits or non-standard body panels can affect fitment though. Flick us a message with the details of your mods and we'll let you know.
We're always expanding our catalogue. If your vehicle isn't supported yet, get in touch and let us know what you're after. We prioritise new product development based on demand, so the more people asking for a particular vehicle the faster it happens.
Ordering
Just browse our collections, pick the right part for your vehicle, add it to your cart and check out. We accept all the major payment methods including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay.
Absolutely. For bulk or trade orders, reach out to us before placing your order. We can sort out pricing, lead times and shipping for larger quantities.
We process orders pretty quickly, so get in touch as soon as you can if you need to make a change. Once an order has been dispatched we can't cancel it, so you'd need to go through our returns process instead.
Shipping
We ship Australia-wide. International shipping may be available on a case by case basis, so contact us with your location and we'll let you know if we can get it to you and what it'll cost.
Most in-stock orders are dispatched within 1 to 3 business days. Delivery within Australia usually takes around 3 to 7 business days depending on where you are. You'll get a tracking number as soon as your order ships.
Every part is individually wrapped and packed in reinforced boxes with foam protection. Carbon fibre can be fragile, so we take packaging seriously to make sure your part shows up in perfect condition.
Get in touch with us within 48 hours of delivery with some photos of the damage and your order number. We'll sort out a replacement or refund for you as fast as we can. Just make sure you don't install the part before reaching out to us.
Returns
We accept returns on unused, uninstalled parts in their original condition within 14 days of delivery. If a part has been installed, modified or damaged after delivery it won't be eligible for a return. You can read our full Refund Policy for all the details.
Return shipping is on the customer unless the return is because of a fault or mistake on our end. We'd recommend using a tracked service since we can't take responsibility for returns that get lost in transit.
Once we've received and checked over your return, we'll process the refund within 3 to 5 business days. How long it takes to actually show up in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
Installation
Most of our parts are designed for DIY installation and only need basic hand tools. That said, if you're not confident working on your car we'd always recommend getting a professional to handle the install so nothing gets accidentally damaged.
Wash with a pH-neutral car shampoo and stay away from abrasive cleaners. Every few months, hit it with a UV-protective wax or ceramic coat to keep the gloss looking fresh and protect against UV yellowing. Also avoid pressure washing the part directly at close range.
