Ford Falcon FG/FG-X Billet Manual Shift Knob

Billet shift knob for the FG and FG-X 6 speed manual.

Same shape and size as the factory knob, so it looks like it belongs in the car. The core is CNC machined from a single piece of 6061-T6 aluminium, with no pressed rings or glued collars to work loose. It is wrapped in black Nappa leather with medium grey stitching to match the factory knob, and the leather tucks into grooves machined under the top ring and collar, so there are no exposed edges to lift.

• Thread: M12 x 1.5, straight onto the factory lever, no adaptor
• Finishes: brushed, brushed black anodised

• Brushed: bare brushed aluminium, the same look as the factory knob.
• Brushed black anodised: the same brushed ring and collar, anodised black so the grain shows through.

How to fit it

1. Remove the factory knob and clean the old threadlocker off the lever. It is threadlocked on from new, so it may need heat and patience.
2. Wind the new knob on dry to check the fit.
3. Add medium strength (blue) threadlocker, wind it down, then back it off until the stitching sits where you want it.
4. Leave it 24 hours before driving.
5. Fit your badge last, square to the car.

FAQ

Does it come with the badge?

No. The top pocket takes a 33 mm gel dome badge, so you can fit the one that suits your car.

Does it fit an automatic?

No. It is for the 6 speed manual only.

Do I need an adaptor?

No. It threads straight onto the factory M12 x 1.5 lever.
