The VW Golf MK7 carbon fibre engine cover replaces the factory plastic piece on GTI and Golf R models running the EA888 engine. It's a straightforward swap that takes the most visible part of the engine bay from stock plastic to genuine carbon fibre, giving the whole top end a cleaner, more refined look.

Each cover uses genuine 2x2 twill weave carbon fibre, hand laid, vacuum bagged, and heat cured. The surface has a UV-resistant gloss clear coat that protects the carbon weave from heat cycling and under-bonnet conditions. The weave texture is visible and tactile through the clear coat, something no vinyl wrap or printed plastic alternative can match.

3D scanned and CAD engineered to follow the exact profile of the factory engine cover. It sits on the same mounting studs as the OEM piece, maintaining factory integration while delivering a premium material upgrade. The design stays true to the original shape rather than trying to reinvent it.
