The Kia Stinger GT dry carbon fibre hood vent cover sits directly on top of the factory hood vent trim, covering the plain black plastic with genuine dry carbon fibre for a sharper, more refined look. No removal of the factory part needed, just a clean overlay that elevates the bonnet detail.

This part uses dry carbon fibre (prepreg), which is lighter and stronger than standard wet-layup carbon fibre. The resin is pre-impregnated into the carbon cloth before moulding, giving a tighter, more consistent weave pattern with a higher carbon-to-resin ratio. The finish is UV-resistant gloss clear coat for long-term protection against Australian sun and engine bay heat.

The overlay is moulded to match the exact contour of the OEM hood vent piece, sitting flush with no gaps. 3D scanned and CAD engineered for precise fitment that maintains the factory bonnet lines while upgrading the material. The dry carbon construction delivers a cleaner, more defined weave appearance compared to standard wet carbon alternatives.

Installation is straightforward. Clean the surface of the existing factory hood vent trim, position the carbon fibre overlay, and press firmly into place. Automotive-grade adhesive tape handles the bond. No drilling, cutting, or permanent modification. Ten to fifteen minutes.
